About Dr. Susmita Sahoo
Dr Susmita Sahoo is a renowned Obstetrician and Gynaecologist , well known laparoscopic surgeon and fertility specialist . She was former Senior Consultant in Talcher Sub-Divisional Hospital, Angul working in the rank of Additional Director, Health and Family Welfare. Now she is the Chief Consultant of S S Hospital, S S Ultrasound Center and S S Kishori Test tube baby center . Dr Susmita Sahoo has completed her undergraduate at VIMSAR ,Burla and Postgraduation from SCB Medical College. She has received` WOMEN OF THE YEAR” award in the year 2020 by Honourable MLA of Talcher ,Shri Brajakishore Pradhan . She is not only a good Doctor, she is also a Social Activist . She had been felicitated by different societies for her social and welfare activities. She is the Secretary of Women’s Doctor Wing of Indian Medical Association , Angul . She is Service Project Chairperson of Rotary Club of Talcher.

Worked as Gynaecology Specialist under Health and Family Welfare ,Odisha for more than 20 years. She was very popular in her place of posting like Parjang CHC and Talcher SDH.
She had successfully treated and operated many patients in lakhs both in Govt setup and Privately.
Dr Susmita Sahoo had done thousands of laparoscopy sterilization operation every year under Govt Family Planning Scheme. She is the only surgeon doing sterilization operation in Angul District.
